"Alternative Methods for the Treatment of Environmental Contamination by Heavy Metals"
Biosorption of heavy metals is seen as an alternative method for detoxifying particularly industrial effluents. The use of seaweed biomass for this purpose is attractive because of their ubiquitous nature along the Argentinian shorelines.
